IPL Hotels That Are Under Bio-Bubble in UAE
Players have finally started leaving for UAE to take part in the upcoming IPL. A bio bubble is planned where players would be safe and avoid having contact with a person from the outside world. The stadiums that they’re playing at would be empty and the players’ would be staying at one hotel for the entirety of the IPL. Staff members, drivers, cooks would also be staying at one place as well so increase the efficiency of the bio bubble.
The first part of the plan seems to be pushed into motion with each team being assigned a single hotel. The hotels that are reserved for the teams are as follows.
Mumbai Indians: St Regis, Abu Dhabi
Royal Challengers Bangalore: Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah Hotel
Chennai Super Kings: Taj, Dubai
Sunrisers Hyderabad: Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort
Kolkata Knight Riders: Ritz Carlton, Abu Dhabi
Delhi Capitals: Palace Downtown, Dubai
Rajasthan Royals: One and Only The Palm, Dubai
Kings XI Punjab: Sofitel The Palm, Dubai
The three stadiums where all of the games would be held are situated in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah which is in close proximity to these hotels ensuring less time wasted on roads and decreasing risk of contact. The IPL is scheduled to take place from Sept 19th in UAE and the player’s list for this year has been outed. Games will be played behind close doors with fake stadium noise and cardboard fans similar to that of the Caribbean Premier League.
