Mumbai Indians Win Against Rajasthan Royals, Go Top of the Table

Mumbai Indian have won the match against Rajasthan Royals and that too quite easily at the end. After the winning the toss MI decided to bat first at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium. De Cock and Rohit Sharma started very well and added quickfire 49 runs before De Cock was caught by Butler off of the debutant’s Kartik Tyagi’s ball. Suryakumar Yadav made 79 off of 47 balls that took their score to 193-4.

Rajasthan Royals struggled from the first over itself when Jaiswal was sent off by an outswinging Boult ball. None of the batsmen apart from Butler could contribute with the bat after that. Butler made 70 of 44 balls with every other batsman going quite easily. Archer was the second-highest scorer from RR with 24 of 11 balls. In the end, Rajasthan Royals could only manage 136 runs and were all out in 18.1 overs.

Bumrah was the pick of the bowler from Mumbai with 4 wickets at the expense of 20 runs in 4 overs. Pattinson and Boult took 2 wickets each. With this win, Mumbai have topped the points table with 8 points from 6 games while Rajasthan are stuck at 7th with just 4 points from 5 games.
